Katelyn's Blessing Day!

We blessed Katelyn on the 9th of November! Its taken me a little while to get around to posting the pics! We blessed her at my parents house and we had so much support from friends and family! We are so blessed to bring another girl into the world! Katelyn is such an angel and only brings our family closer together!


Michael is such a great dad and Adrie loves him more than anything in the world! I picked a winner :) I say that because he is so good with all kids, not just mine! I love him so much. I am so grateful for him and all that he does for our family!

Just a different view of the house as they were setting the trusses! It is so exciting to see the progress on our house. It is coming along pretty fast. We hope to get it roofed and enclosed before the snow comes!

Halloween Night!

For Halloween my mom had everyone over for chili, donuts, and cider! We ate and then took pics with all the cousins that live around her on my side of the family!! It was really low key and relaxed. Adrie loved dressing up and Katelyn didn't mind her costume either! Adrie went to the trunk or treat in our ward. She got plenty of candy all within ten minutes! We took her around to three or four houses later that night and called it good. She practiced all day saying "trick or treat". It was so cute! At the end of the night she was all sugared up and then she got to have her first sleep over at her cousin Hailey's house! I will have to get the pics from Michelle so you can see how much fun she had! Thanks Michelle!

Adrie has recently fell in love with the camera! A couple months ago I couldn't get her to smile in any of her pics, but now she likes to be in the spotlight all the time! If you have been around her lately, you know what I'm talking about!

Another New Beginning!

Katelyn will be four weeks on Monday! It is just crazy how fast time goes by.

Adrie likes to show off for the camera! She will do anything for attention and some camera time now that there is a new baby in the house!

We are building a home! Mike dug the foundation late last week and we will be ready to pour the foundation in a couple days! We are excited, stressed, nervous and anxious all at the same time! I will try to post more pics as it comes along!

The Newest Member of our Family!

Katelyn Mortensen was born at 9:05 p.m. on September 15, 2008! She weighed in at 8 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20.5 inches long! Katelyn was much smaller than Adrie so I only had to push three times! It was definitely an easier recovery. It would have been perfect if the epidural worked on the lower half of my body but when all was said and done I can walk!! Yeah! I felt a whole lot of pain for the last hour of labor but it was definitely better than two months after the delivery!

A day at the Zoo!

We went to the Zoo a couple weeks ago. Adrie hasn't stopped talking about it since. She loved the Monkeys but was scared when they would come close to the glass! We decided that we would do something for the last time as a family of three! The fourth member has decided she doesn't want to show her face until she has too.....which is MONDAY! Yeah, I am getting induced on Monday and can't wait. It has been a long and hot summer. Anyone that has been around me has heard enough complaining and I am sorry for that! My only worry is that I will have another big baby, so if any one wants to guess how much she will weigh, go for it! I hope I don't have another ten pound baby! The recovery is not so fun. Anyways, the next update should be with our new baby girl! Wish me luck!

Kaden Shad Crapo is HERE!

My little sister Kassie had her baby on Monday, August 4th! He weighed 7 lbs & 10 ounces! Congrats Kassie! Kaden is one beautiful baby boy! Sorry I took so long to post pics of her little man for those of you that have been asking!

SOLD!!!

We sold our fix'er upper house that we bought two years ago! It was a blessing that it sold so fast with the housing market so slow! We didn't expect it to be sold after only two weeks on the market! So we are know running around like chickens with our heads cut off! We will be living in my parents basement until we finish building a house. So things are kinda crazy with the baby due in five weeks! It was definitely a big project for Mike! He did a great job with all the remodeling!
